Hermenaria project

Niche data collections is an application of Hermenaria analogies search methods to software and physical storage, use and circulation of information.
This application highlights an analogy and an acausal search above the quantity of data.
A core goal of these application methods, sets of features and products is to increase and understand a relative value of information. This results in a focus on an application to an accurate situation, fluid and infinite states of use and context associations.
We will focus on problems of incomplete collections, niche search and copyright possible forms in order to enter and play own role in digital industry and digital market.
We present our methods, features and components for databases, niche neural networks and software applications.
We will describe practical use cases to use niche and local collections in digital R&D and applied industry.
We will organize a Q&A session (Questions and Answers) as a part of a master-class dedicated to several questions of participants and an exchange on released topics.

Master-class description, problem solving and case studies

1. Problem of incomplete collections:

Common problem of niche, local and private collections – lack of complete series and sets of objects; officially considerated as secondary objects or metadata; incomplete information and sources, current physic condition and description

2. Problem of niche search:

Niche, nuance and context information is difficult to extract because of generated and mass-market content, closed fixed classifications and limited understanding of circulation of information. (Cycle and rhythm of information, re-cycle and re-use of information in time and space).
This blocks specific needs of search, niche market solutions and self-education.

3. Problem of copyright:

Increase in use and commercialization of data in AI and digital spaces without link to the source and without commercialization and a way to communicate with the copyright owner. Use of generated content as a mix of niche, local, context works. Problem of searching the original and source content. Problem of presentation of a way in which information interacts and uses in a particular project, thought or manner.

Methods, features and components for databases, niche neural networks and software applications

We highlight the idea that it is usually a way of doing, an application, which makes a difference. In a case of information, it is not data itself but the way it is organized, presented and highlighted.

Like a story and a narrator who tells it from his point of view; an object and an observer, who looks at it; an attention and a way someone takes attention.

For this reason, we want to introduce the following analogies to the use and interaction of data in digital and physical collections:

  • Alimentation component
  • Interaction component
  • Updates
  • Metabolism of information,
  • Chemistry of metadata and information

Symbol / ID
Organic’zation / Indexation
Classification / Stateware
Keyword / Goal search
Copyright/Keypath

Use cases in R&D and applied industry

1. Pattern and ornaments

Niche collections data: niche color palette, materials, textures, patterns, local techniques applied to local and context geography zone

R&D and applied industry use: Industrial textile, packaging, new materials and retransformed methods of application of materials, building industry and on demand digital industry development in general

Use case:

  • Traditional patterns & Digital clothes industry
  • Local sculpture and craft & Digital structure design
  • Local geography data and historical building techniques & New materials construction applied to specific climate ecosystem
Use cases include a use of local and niche color palette, materials, textures in industrial textile on demand industry, industrial design of digital spaces, building industry, and packaging. As an example, a local niche information of historical building design includes history experience of local climate building adaptation, geography and nature, which can be use in developing new infrastructure projects in similar geographical zones around the world.

2. Symbols and names

Niche collections data and metadata: Stories, legends, practices, use cases, names, symbols of objects, human practices

R&D and applied industry use: Gamification, visual world’s extension, virtualization, communications networks, psychotherapy, physical and digital art

Use case:

  • Traditional symbols and names & Psychotherapy and art therapy / Branding / Avatars
  • Niche objects, techniques & Visual worlds lore and backstories
  • Local legends & Games, story integrations in digital spaces
Another use case is an application of local and niche data in visual worlds and imaginary universe creation and sharing. It includes the use of local and niche metadata such as stories, legends, practices, use cases, names, symbols of objects and patterns in developing visual and virtual worlds.
